How to keep them Busy!

I swear at almost 2 years old Izzy has to constantly be entertained! We always saw ourselves as the parents that wouldn't have to adjust their lives much when they had a little one! Boy was this a challenge! In some senses its true, we didn't adjust our schedules much but we worked hard to make sure Izzy's schedule could easily adapt to ours. That is a post for another day!
Okay, so I am not an ultimate clean mom! I make sure the house is today but for the most part the major cleaning can only get done on weekends when we are not working!
We have found a few ways to entertain our little one while we tidy up the house and it helps her also clean! I love teaching good habits and life skills while also getting moment of sanity... I said a moment, so don't expect a miracle or long periods of quiet time!
We have found the following items help a lot to keep Izzy occupied!
1. Small spray bottle, sponge and paper towels
2. Laundry basket or bin
3. Swiffer- They cost less than $10 and they are practical for you and your little one to use. We love that the Swiffer handle is adjustable. We removed a section so it was easier for our little one to push around.
4. Pretend Dyson or Black and decker dust buster
...My Goal is to keep my blog post short and simple to make them an easy read! Never hesitate to ask more questions though!
